Founded in 2008, DecoWorks Pty Ltd aims to utilise specialist theatrical prop making skills to produce a range of stylish decorative props for home and garden decor. Our Director, David Wilson, brings to the company a unique depth of experience gained from over twenty years of prop making. As well as having extensive prop making experience David spent fifteen years as head of the props manufacturing department at Australia's national opera company, Opera Australia.

 

During his time with Opera Australia David collaborated with designers from both Australia and overseas to produce all the props and scenery dressing for over 75 new opera productions for the company. He was also responsible for the technical design and production of specialist theatrical props and effects for many of these new productions.

Custom home decor products


As well as a range of security bars and grilles for doors and windows DecoWorks Pty Ltd also design and build other custom home decor products. Inspired by Art Deco style and Chinese lattice traditions our designs compliment contemporary decor. We also provide repair services or modifications to existing props and decor items.

 

Our motto, "make it happen", crystalizes our vision of making distinctive props a reality for the discerning client. Creating inspired new designs and individual feature props that enhance existing decor is our passion.
